What is this? A new mix you say? Why yes! My first mix, No Hero In Her Skies, went over really well and I got a lot of requests to make another mix. I wanted to, but I wanted to wait until I had another really good one in mind. And I think this one’s pretty awesome. I even put an effort into the album cover (the photograph is one of my own).
You can download this mix, Unbroken Gladness, HERE. This is the tracklisting:
Us by Regina Spektor
Where Does The Good Go by Tegan and Sara
Dress Up in You by Belle & Sebastian
Moments Last Forever by Drever, McCusker & Woomble
My Good Deed by Shearwater
Nothing Better by The Postal Service
The Moment I Said It by Imogen Heap
Chasing Cars by Snow Patrol
I Found a Boy by Adele
Just Breathe by Pearl Jam
Far From Home by Five Finger Death Punch
Come As You Are by Nirvana
Wasted Hours by Arcade Fire
The Youth by MGMT
I Must Belong Somewhere by Bright Eyes
16, Maybe Less by Calexico and Iron & Wine
Start a War by The National
The President’s Dead by Okkervil River
Shelter by The xx
We Are Not Alone by Karla DeVito
One of the things I always work hard on my playlists is to put them in a specific order to make it flow, both musically and in song content, so do indulge me and listen to it in the order listed. The idea with this mix is a sort of melancholy happiness or connectedness. Songs to make you feel less alone, done brilliantly. Do share/reblog. And let me know what you guys think of it!
