Song of the Day:
Song of Our So-Called Friend LIVE by Will Sheff

Well, loving is as loving does, and I’d say we should know
because we both have loved, have lost, and are alone.

Will Sheff is the lead singer of Okkervil River (one of my favourite bands), and he writes most of their material. Yesterday he played an incredibly small, intimate gig at St Pancras Old Church — there was less than 80 people there! Patrick, Okkervil River’s bassist, came on for two or three songs as well. It was absolutely perfect. The way he sang A Stone made me cry, it was so utterly perfect. I love this man more than ever, and I’m so thrilled that I managed to get a ticket and be there last night.

This is one of the songs I recorded, and one of my personal favourites.
