I already had the McCann (I bought and read it the week it originally came out) but for some bizarre reason, they never released a hardback in the UK, so when it came to pack my books a couple of months ago, I gave that one away with the intention of buying a copy of the American hardback. So when I saw this in the shop, I snatched it straight away. I’ve already finished reading A Monster Calls, which is absolutely beautiful. Border Songs was a random find, and The Broom of the System was such a gorgeous edition, I couldn’t resist.
