We went up to Halibut Point, a State Park that’s an absolute treasure. I was terrified as we scaled those enormous granite boulders, constantly worried I would slip and hurt myself badly, but I managed it (with a little help form him) safely enough. We perched on the edge with a picnic of chips and dip, sweet grapes, peaches and lots of water, trying to keep our bottoms as injury-free as possible. It was a beautiful hike and a beautiful park.
