The Pursuit of Love by Nancy Mitford

(First edition cover)
I quite enjoyed this novel. I felt that it was Austen-esque in parts, but different enough to be regarded on its own. The characters were well fleshed out, and I realised very fast that I’ve been missing out on not reading her novels. Nothing very hard-hitting, but a pleasant read. I’m eager to read Love in a Cold Climate, its sequel, and also buy a copy of The Mitfords: Letters Between Six Sisters. Seems they lived an interesting life. I’d give it a 4/5, I think. It’s a solid.
While I love reviewing things, I hate rating them.
